Amelia Whateley (Folk Fauna) is a mixed media illustrator who works primarily in watercolour and coloured pencil. Her passion for local folklore, wildlife conservation and slow living shines through in her illustrations. Her work often depicts the natural landscape of the British Isles, as well as mischivous folklore characters inspired by her upbrining near Dartmoor National Park. 

Alongside her illustration work Amelia sells prints on her etsy shop titled ‘Folk Fauna’ as well as selling a range of illustrated goods at local markets. 

In her digital illustration practice Amelia uses textured brushes to mimic her use of coloured pencil and watercolour.
